Louis Roche is the Founder of Octalas Group and its portfolio of brands, where he leads the group’s vision of building advanced fintech and AI-powered technologies across capital markets, banking infrastructure, payments, and intelligent software systems. His work is focused on shaping scalable, real-world financial and AI solutions that bridge institutional finance with next-generation technology.
Louis brings extensive experience across both artificial intelligence and global financial services. Early in his career, he was part of Woohoo AI in 2015, where he contributed to the implementation of AI-driven modules for the hospitality sector. At the time, the technology was ahead of its market adoption curve and represented one of the earlier practical applications of AI in operational business systems.
Throughout his career, Louis has held roles within major financial and global institutions, including Bank of Scotland, Markets.com, GE Financial, Mitsubishi, BMW, and Toyota. His experience spans banking, trading markets, automotive innovation, and large-scale financial systems, giving him a broad foundation in both corporate operations and technology-driven transformation.
In addition, Louis has served in senior leadership roles, including Chief Product Officer (CPO) positions at two notable financial institutions, where he was responsible for product strategy, digital transformation, and innovation delivery. He has also acted as a consultant on multiple Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), contributing to strategic positioning, product structuring, and market readiness.
